From electrotechnics to MLOps — the trajectory

Content created with the help of AI
Three moments, one thread.
The past — electrotechnics and consultancies
I started with electrotechnics: the real world, wires, machines that either run or don’t. Then a stretch in consulting firms, where I learned as much about what I don’t want as about what I do: lots of travel, siloed interventions, the feeling of fixing things without ever building them.
The present — alfa-safety and the projects
At alfa-safety (managed services team), the substance of my work changed. Not because the title changed — because the scope grew:
- NetBird: replace an outdated VPN with a network the whole team understands.
- Toolbox: turn a fresh machine into a workstation with one command.
- n8n: make automation visible instead of hidden inside scripts.
- Local LLM: operate AI instead of consuming it.
The common thread: moving the company from craft to industrial. Repeated gestures become reproducible systems.
The future — MLOps / LLMOps / IAOps
What’s next fits in one sentence: apply what I know about classic infrastructure — reliability, reproducibility, monitoring — to the AI layer.
That’s why this site exists: to show the trajectory, not just the current position. A static site, a Docker container, a Traefik proxy — the container and the content say the same thing.
